Freezin’ For a Reason

 In Uncategorised

Lead by Barrie Police Chief Kimberly Greenwood and other members of Barrie PD, some brave and most likely foolish souls took to Centennial Beach on March 2, for what was Barrie’s turn in one of over 20 Polar Plunges taking place across Ontario.  Among them were three members of our Local 303; Cory Schepers, Callum Wynnes and Sean Sharp who jumped in uniform and raised $580 for Special Olympics.  Huge thank you’s go out to everyone who took the time (and their wallets) to sponsor the team and contribute to making the event a success. Check out www.polarplunge.ca for complete event listings.
