International Women’s Day

 In Uncategorised

International Women’s Day means something different for everyone.
Today we would like to reflect and appreciate the journey of women in Paramedicine. We have made huge strides from Ontario’s first female Paramedic Marg Kwilla (nee Beatty) who was hired by Halton/Mississauga in 1975, to the amazing 118 female Paramedics in OPSEU Local 303, making up 35% of frontline paramedics.
