Rally to Save Public Health Care
Thousands took to Queen’s Park on April 30th to protest the PC Government’s proposed changes to health care and members of our Local
303 were front and center. These changes could involve massive cuts, and have potential to play a huge role on the future of patient care across the province. We are taking up the cause to keep our Municipal services, who will employ local paramedics, who understand the needs of the community, and therefore, can provide better care for the community as a whole. While this battle is far from over and many more steps will need to be taken, there was a clear message, that we are strong, and we will NOT stop advocating for the people we provide care to. Patients not profits! Keep Paramedics Public!
